Siquijor and Dumagete

Just got back from a very relaxing and beautiful holiday!  The Philippines do have some amasing spots only an hour flight from Manila.
The "witchcraft" island of Siquihor was our first stop.  Caught the very dodgy ferry over there with Nick and Yoko and family.  Found out that alot of Filipinos are scared to visit the island due to the "witches" that inhabit it!?  Stayed at Coco Grove resort - beautiful beach, great sunsets.  Went snorkelling with turtles on Apo island.  Had a surprise birthday dinner with Moet and choc cake imported from Dumagete organised by Yoko and Martin!
After a week there - caught ferry back to Dumagete and short drive down to Atmosphere Resort.  Beautiful resort - developed by an English couple with great eye for detail.  Beach wasn't as nice but snorkelling on the reef was great with lots of very colourful fish, jellyfish, starfish.  Martin did his advanced open water dive course which involved deep diving and night dive etc.  Saw lots of amasing sea life.  Back to Manila now - a bit hard to get back into apartment living after spending 2 weeks living outside.......
